Braunstone Town Community Library
Braunstone Town Community library is to be closed from 1PM Saturday 21st, until further notice. All books have been renewed until May 1st and any overdue fees will be waived.
Centre restrictions and booking restrictions
Restrictions have been placed on bookings at the Civic Centre and Thorpe Astley Centre.
All bookings are cancelled until 30th June 2020. A full refund will be given for cancelled bookings.
Civc Centre Bar & Cafe
The Civic Community Lounge is closed from 20th March until further notice.
Council Meetings
Town Council meetings on April 2nd have been cancelled.
Due to the fast changing nature of this situation. and changing guidelines on public health, we will update you on later meetings when decisions have been made.
Event Cancellations
The following events have been cancelled:
- Community Quiz Night - Friday 27th March
- Singles Night - Saturday 28th March
- Town Mayor’s Award Night - Friday 3rd April
- Town Mayor’s Dinner at Marriott hotel - Friday 24th April
- VE Day events hosted by Braunstone Community Life - 8th May
- Spring Craft Fair - 23rd May
We are asking ticketholders to please be patient in this period - there is a lot going on so it may take a while for refunds to start being processed.
