Duty Officer – Community Centres

 

ARE YOU RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY A PEOPLE’S PERSON?

HOURS: Part-time, 546 hours per annum, average 10½ hours per week (varies from week to week).  Includes some days, evenings and weekends

GRADE: NJC Scale points 12 – 15 (based on 547½ hours: £6,296 - £6,679, plus additional hours payments where applicable).

CONTRACT: Permanent (subject to 6 months’ probation)

CLOSING DATE: 9am, Monday 28th June 2021

INTERVIEW DATE: Monday 5th July 2021

Braunstone Town Council is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and welcoming person to provide a safe and secure environment for the Council’s premises.

You will be the first point of contact, liaising with all visitors, including dealing with the needs and requirements of hirers, and computerised booking enquiries in a polite, professional and efficient manner.

You will also be a keyholder for the Council’s buildings including responsibility for responding to emergency call outs.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have a proactive approach, are flexible with your shift patterns (to include evenings and weekends), you’re willing to work at the Council’s Centres and able to provide cover for both holidays and sickness.

IF THE ANSWER IS YES THEN BRAUNSTONE TOWN COUNCIL WANT YOU TO JOIN OUR TEAM.

HOURS: Part-time, 1040 hours per annum, average 20 hours per week (varies from week to week).  Includes some days, evenings and weekends

GRADE: NJC Scale points 8 – 11 (based on 1043 hours: £11,044 - £11,720,

CONTRACT: Permanent (subject to 6 months’ probation)

The Customer Service shop is open Monday - Friday: 9.30am - 5.00pm. Closed on Bank Holidays.

Braunstone Town Community Library

  • Monday: 2PM - 7PM
  • Tuesday: 2PM - 5PM
  • Wednesday: 10AM - 12:00 Noon, then 2 PM - 5PM.
  • Thursday: 2PM - 5PM
  • Friday: 10AM - 12:00 Noon, then 2 PM - 5PM.
  • Saturday: 10AM - 1PM
  • Sunday: Closed
  • Closed on Bank Holidays
  • Thorpe Astley Community Centre

    Not available for hirings to allow NHS and childcare usage of the centre during Covid-19.
