Elections to Braunstone Town Council are being held on Thursday 4th May 2023.

If you choose to stand for election and you are elected; please note the following important dates:
- Polling day – Thursday 4th May
- Election count – Friday 5th May
- Become a Town Councillor – Monday 8th May
- New Councillor Induction – Monday 15th May, 6pm
- Annual Meetings – Thursday 18th May, 7.30pm
- Return of Election Expenses – Thursday 1st June
- Return of Interests Declaration – Friday 2nd June
You will be a Town Councillor until 9th May 2027.

May 2023 Voting Information
The District and Parish elections will be held on Thursday 04 May 2023. There will be Elections held for all 36 district council seats and 24 parish councils.
May 2023 will be the first elections in which you must show an accepted form of photographic ID at the polling station in order to vote. For further information please head over to the Blaby District Website here: Elections May 2023
