REFURBISHMENT OF TOILETS AND KITCHEN AND PROVISION OF CHANGING PLACES TOILET AND CAFÉ KITCHEN AT BRAUNSTONE CIVIC CENTRE

209 Kingsway, Braunstone Town, Leicester, LE3 2PP.

Invitation to Tender

TENDERS ARE INVITED from suitably experienced contractors to carry out refurbishment and improvement works at Braunstone Civic Centre, 209 Kingsway, Braunstone Town, Leicester, LE3 2PP from July/August 2022 as follows:

1. refurbish existing toilet facilities, including the existing disabled toilet;
2. install a new Changing Places Toilet facility;
3. installation of rainwater harvesting for the toilets;
4. refurbish staff kitchen facility;
5. relocate an existing toilet facility and refurbish;
6. provide a new catering kitchen facility for the Civic Community Lounge (Bar/Café);
7. provide a new cleaning store facility;
8. provide new storage facilities; and
9. installation of services, fixtures and fittings for the above.

The specification, requirements, drawings and tender documents are available from HSSP Architects Ltd and to download below.

Valid tenders must include the completed Form of Tender and Schedule of Works and must be delivered enclosed in a plain, sealed envelope, endorsed “Tender – Braunstone Civic Centre” and addressed to the Office of the Chief Executive & Town Clerk of Braunstone Town Council, c/o HSSP Architects Ltd, Pera Business Park, Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE13 0PB, no later than: 2pm on Thursday 5th May 2022.

Note: Canvassing of Members or of any committee, directly or indirectly, for any Contract with the Council shall disqualify the Contractor for such appointment.  If an applicant for any appointment or Contract with the Council is to his/her knowledge related to any Member of, or the holder of any office under the Council, he/she and the person to whom he/she is related shall disclose the relationship in writing to the Chief Executive & Town Clerk.  A Contractor who fails to do so shall be disqualified for such Contract, and, if appointed, may be dismissed without notice.
